What we collect and why

• Contact details you give us — name, dealership, role, country, email address, phone number, brands carried, and whatever you write in the message field. We collect these so we can answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, administer warranty claims for you. We do not collect them for any other purpose.
• Booking details — if you book a call, our scheduling provider records your name, email address, and the time you chose.
• Aggregate site analytics — page views and referrers, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking. We cannot identify you from this and we do not try to.

We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not use session recording.

How phone numbers are collected and used

A phone number is only ever collected because you typed it into a form on this site or gave it to us directly. We use it to return your enquiry and to discuss claims we are handling for you.

We will only send you text messages if you separately ticked the SMS consent box on our contact form. That box is never pre-ticked and is never a condition of submitting the form or of becoming a client. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. Our full messaging terms are on our terms page.

Sharing your information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Beyond that, we share information only with the service providers who make this site and our work possible — our email host, our form and scheduling providers, and, where you are a client, the manufacturer warranty programme your claim is filed into. Each acts on our instructions. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

Where your information is handled

Rocky Solutions LLC contracts from Missouri, USA. The team that prepares warranty claims works from India, which means personal information you send us may be accessed there. We use standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards for transfers out of the UK and the EEA.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become clients — 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
• Client records, including claim documentation — for the duration of the engagement and seven years afterwards, because warranty claims are auditable by the manufacturer for that long.
• SMS consent records — for as long as you are opted in, and for four years after you opt out, so we can evidence that consent was given and honoured.

Your rights and how to use them

Email rakesh@rockysolutionsllc.com and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge for it. Deleting your information may mean we can no longer administer claims for you, and we will say so before we act.

United Kingdom and Canada

If you are in the United Kingdom, UK GDPR applies to your information. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for answering a business enquiry, contract performance for client work, and consent for text messaging. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

If you are in Canada, PIPEDA applies. We collect only what is needed for the purposes set out above, we obtain consent for those purposes, and you may access your information or challenge our handling of it by writing to the address above. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes to how we use phone numbers will be notified to anyone who has opted in to messaging.
